Son Tra Peninsula
While the Son Tra Peninsula is connected to Da Nang, it feels a world away from the bustling city streets. With long, white sandy beaches, picturesque landscapes and primeval forests, Son Tra Peninsula is the perfectplace to get away from it all.

Encompassing a total area of 4,000 hectares, Son Tra is home to around 1,000 different species of plant, 51 species of bird and 15 types of reptiles. And offshore, the peninsula can lay claim to 42 species of coral. Native fauna include the red cheek gibbons and turtles, both of which are endangered species. And the giant banyan tree, with its vast network of roots, is a spectacular natural wonder.

The peninsula also has several stunning sandy beaches, including Bai Bac, Bai Nam and Bai But, which are perfect for swimming, fishing and sightseeing.
